HTC Hero and HTC Tattoo Smartphones Announced in Australia

HTC has officially announced the upcoming availability of the HTC Hero, and HTC Tattoo Smartphones in Australia. Designed for personalisation and accessibility, the HTC Hero and Tattoo are equipped with Android OS and HTC Sense UI.

The HTC Hero features a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 320×480-pixel resolution, megapixel AutoFocus camera with Touch focus, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, A-GPS support, powered by Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz processor, a 288MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, 3.5mm headset jack, and microSD card slot. The Hero will be available in Australia for AUD 799 ($745).

On the other hand, HTC Tattoo comes equipped with 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 240×320-pixel resolution, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 3.5 mm audio jack, A-GPS support, Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, and microSD card slot. The HTC Tattoo will be available in Australia for AUD 599 ($559).
