HTC Hero goes to India

HTC has officially announced the HTC Hero that will be released in India. The HTC’s second Android devices, HTC Hero comes with a new HTC Sense UI, which lets the users to customize the phone’s software.
The HTC Hero features a a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSPA, quad-band GSM, support 3.5mm headset jack and microSD card slot.
The HTC Hero will priced at 34,600 INR ($714) in Maharashtra and 31,990 ($660) in India other states. Airtel also offers a 100MB of free data transfer of for the first six months for Airtel’s customers who buy the HTC Hero.
