Lenovo LePhone Android-powered smartphone Officially Introduced

Lenovo has officially introduced a new smartphone that based on Android platform, namely Lenovo LePhone. The new Lenovo LePhone smartphone is powered by the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which usually used by other high-end smartphones like Google Nexus One, HTC HD2, etc.

The Lenovo LePhone also supports 3.7-inch 480 x 800 touchscreen display, a completely touch-based interface for navigation (no button here), a 3.0-megapixel camera and camcorder, a videocall camera in the front, a 3.5mm headset jack, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS for navigation.

The Lenovo LePhone running on a customized version of Google’s Android operating system which already integrated with social networking site like twitter, Facebook etc. Besides that, Lenovo will also offer a clamshell docking station, which serves to add a QWERTY keyboard to LePhone.

According to the news, the Lenovo LePhone will arrive in China in the first half of 2010.
