LG GW620 (Etna), LG’s First Android Smartphone Now Official

LG has officially announced the LG GW620 Smartphone that known previously as LG Etna. The LG GW620 is the LG’s firts android smartphone, which has a full touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
“The LG-GW620 will appeal to first-time smartphone customers by offering a new and different kind of user experience,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “
The LG GW620 features a 3-inch TFT touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution, 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA 2100, Wi-Fi, GPS support, 3,5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Stereo FM Radio, and supports Quad-band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz).
LG GW620 will be commercially available in select European markets starting the fourth quarter of 2009.
The LG-GW620 will be available in select European markets starting fourth quarter of this year.
